Xylimelts are all natural, gluten free, contain no preservatives and have a non-acidic pH of 8. The best part is, Xylimelts will not affect your ability to eat, drink or speak, meaning they can be used anytime throughout the day or night. Each packet contains 40 individual discs, enough for about 20 treatments when using two discs at a time.
Available in delicious Mild Mint or Mint Free Flavours, mild mint flavour freshens your breath, and the added xylitol in both flavours may assist reducing the risk of tooth decay.
How Do XyliMelts Work?
Xylimelts work by coating, moisturising, and lubricating the mouth whilst increasing saliva production, freshening breath and reducing the risk of tooth decay and sleep disruption caused by dry mouth.
Xylimelts utilise unique, industry first, patented oral adhering disc technology – essentially meaning they will securely adhere to your gum or tooth once placed in position. This allows Xylimelts to provide long lasting relief, particularly whilst sleeping and in comparison, to many other Dry Mouth Toothpastes, Sprays and Gums currently available on the market.
Once placed in position, usually just above the first molar, the discs get to work and gradually dissolve over several hours. During this time, the disc will gently release 550 mg of xylitol, whilst continuously moisturising and coating the mouth for optimal comfort. At the same time, Calcium Carbonate is slowly released and this assists in neutralising acids and supporting oral health. This slow, sustained release will continue for several hours and until the disc has completely dissolved in your mouth. Xylimelts can be left in place during the day or night and will not affect eating, drinking, or speaking.
What Are The Benefits Of Xylitol?
Xylitol is becoming very important in dentistry due to its oral health benefits. Xylitol is a natural sweetener that not only helps stimulate salivary flow but may also help reduce the risk of dental decay. Xylitol is most effective when it is continuously released or lingers in the mouth and especially while sleeping when saliva flow is at its lowest.

- Use day and/or night
- Placing an adhesive disc may feel a little foreign for first time users
- 40pk may not last long for daily users
How to Use Xylimelts
Xylimelts are extremely easy to use and can be used throughout the day or while sleeping.
- While Sleeping: Use two discs, placing one on each side of the mouth. Some people find one disc at a time is enough.
- Daytime: As needed
- Place a disc at the gum line on the outside of the molar, upper or lower, with the white side touching your cheek and the tan adhesive side against your gums and/or teeth.
- Use your tongue to push the disc to a comfortable spot. Once there, do not push with your finger or touch your tongue for 10 seconds, as this will disrupt adhesion which grows stronger over time.
